A film that will tell the story of Bonaparte's rise
In this feature film produced by Apple, Joaquin Phoenix will take the
features
of Napoleon Bonaparte to recount his rise to power and the beginning of
his political career. The film will particularly focus on the Emperor's
relationship with his wife Josephine, whom he married in 1796. Named
Kitbag, the film will be directed by Ridley Scott and scripted by David
Scarpa.
According to the American media Deadline, the production of Kitbag is not scheduled to begin before 2022. We are not about to see the film land on Apple TV +, but Apple has other projects in the pipeline. Apple recently announced the production of Killers of the Flower Moon, a Martin Scorsese film starring Leonardo DiCaprio. And at Clubic, we are obviously waiting for the arrival of the Foundation series, adapted from the SF books of Isaac Asimov.
