CD Projekt RED has deployed on its site official tools for mod support on the PC version of Cyberpunk 2077.
Both
budding modders and veterans alike will be able to give it their all to
fully personalize their Night City experience… And share it with other
players in need of new features, while waiting for CD Projekt RED to
refine it Game.

'Ambitious mercenary seeks talented Charcudoc to improve his chrome'
Without
waiting for this gesture on the part of CD Projekt RED, the modders had
already started to improve certain elements of the PC version and to
personalize the gaming experience. We were notably able to discover a
mod improving driving, a deactivating mod dodge by double-pressing an
arrow key or another adding a key to walk.
In terms of
customizing the experience, a character creation tool was available
during the game, when a mod offered a third person perspective.
From
now on, it will be possible for all modding enthusiasts to make major
changes to Cyberpunk 2077. So we just have to wait a few days or weeks
to see what the community of enthusiasts will do in Night City.

CD Projekt RED focuses on the most urgent cases
CD Projekt RED
continues to refine Cyberpunk 2077 as much as possible, in particular by
correcting the many bugs particularly present on the console versions. A
first step has been taken with patch 1.1, which nevertheless introduces
some new annoying bugs. A more substantial patch 1.2 is expected in the
coming weeks.
Due to these numerous issues at stake, the studio
is currently under fire with two lawsuits and a close scrutiny of its
work by a Polish authority, or face fines if it is not satisfactory.
Making mod support accessible to everyone on the PC version should
therefore allow CD Projekt RED to fully focus on the most urgent.
The
wave of free DLCs initially planned at the beginning of the year has
also been postponed so that the studio fully tackles the correction of
bugs. The update for the Xbox Series X | S and PS5 is expected around
fall 2021.
