ASUS ROG Phone 5 will have 18 GB of RAM, a record

According to a recent benchmark, the future Asus ROG Phone 5 could constitute a record in terms of onboard RAM.

The smartphone should indeed be able to count on a total of… 18 GB of RAM!

The Asus ROG 5 will be (too?) Full of RAM

If the current ROG Phone 3 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus 5G processor, with a total of 16 GB of RAM, its successor should raise the bar even higher. Indeed, according to a recent benchmark, the future Asus gaming smartphone could carry (in its ultimate version) no less than 18 GB of RAM. This would obviously be a new record in this area.

This upcoming new smartphone will also be equipped with a brand new processor, with a certain Snapdragon 888 on board. This CPU is already fitted to some current (very) high-end smartphones, and in particular the American version of the Samsung Galaxy S21.

If Asus will officially present its new ROG Phone on March 10, we already know that the smartphone should be built around a large 6.7 'AMOLED screen, which will display 144 Hz compatibility. The smartphone will be powered by a large 6000 mAh battery.

A smartphone designed for gaming therefore, with, as on other similar models, a small button that will activate a mode dedicated to the practice of mobile video games. Everything will run on Android 11, the latest version of Google's OS.
